Press release: K9 Candy Kitchen
K9 Candy Kitchen recently announced the launch of its Himalayan-Style Chew Private Label Division. The demand for the company’s U.S.-based product capabilities since its January launch has been overwhelming. This demand has led the company to create the new division. The company has also opened a new 6,500-square-foot production facility in Los Angeles County to support its private label efforts. The new facility has an internal R&D team to meet customers’ formulation and product development needs. Production is being rapidly ramped up to support up to 2 million pounds per year.
“We are really excited to open our new private label division,” said Riki Trowe, CEO of K9 Candy Kitchen. “Immediately after we launched our branded Himalayan Hemp Stix we received calls asking to private label our products in both CBD and non-CBD formulas.”
The demand for private label Himalayan-style chews is driven by the trend towards Made in the U.S.A. consumables and the more recent supply chain difficulties. As an entrepreneurial company, K9 Candy Kitchen quickly realized it had an opportunity if it could quickly capitalize on the current business environment and pivot towards private label production. Within four months of its branded launch the company is ready to service private label customers today.
K9 Candy Kitchen is owned and operated by the Trowe family and headquartered in Gardena, California. The company’s mission is to create unique pet products sourced with the finest sustainable and organic ingredients. The current product lineup includes Himalayan Hemp Stix, Turkey Bacon and Beef Jerky chews. All products are made in the U.S.A. with locally sourced ingredients.
