Pet Food Brand Wet Noses Reappoints Galligan as CEO, Quinn as COO

Press release: Wet Noses

Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company announces that Jasmine “Jazz” Galligan has rejoined the company as chief executive officer, effective September 20, 2022. In 2019, Galligan moved on and moved to Mexico with her family of five kids and three dogs, after successfully running the company for 23 years. In September 2022, she was asked to rejoin the company. Jazz accepted, and instantly reached out to Jeff Quinn, her close friend and former COO.

Additional team members have also rejoined the company upon hearing of Galligan and Quinn’s return. The duo and their Wet Noses operations and leadership teams are deeply committed to making sure the key fundamental founding principles are demonstrated consistently in all aspects of the business. The entire Wet Noses team is invigorated by teamwork steeped in history as many of the group have “grown up” together as the business has grown and moved from facility to facility, moving huge machines and reestablishing production under the scrutinous SQF guidelines.

A renewed focus on the company’s core values as well as growth and operational efficiencies are front of mind for Galligan as she leads the company into 2023 and beyond.

“The commitment to quality has always been the number One thing for us, ” she said. “This applies to customer interaction, ship rates, sourcing, food safety and literally every aspect of our business, not just production.”

The mission of Wet Noses is simple: feed nutritious, clean, human-grade food to as many dogs as possible. Nearly 23 years ago, Galligan began baking human-grade dog treats in her 700-square-foot garage when she couldn’t find a healthy treat on the market for her personal dogs. From there, Wet Noses was born, eventually growing into an 87,000-square-foot production facility encompassing 6 production processes and a community of over 100 dog-loving employees. In the past two decades, Wet Noses has never strayed from its roots––featuring only 100 percent, human-grade, non-GMO products without corn, wheat, soy, preservatives or artificial ingredients. The company also produces private label dog food and treats for leading national retailers, as well as operates under its own Wet Noses, Doggy Delirious and Best Homies brands, which can be found online and at retailers nationwide.
