Holistic Health Extension Expands National Sales Team

Holistic Health Extension’s management has announced that three experienced pet industry professionals have been added to their national sales team.

Stew Omar has taken on the role of California Territory Sales Manager. A 20-year veteran in the pet specialty channel, Omar is a motivated self-starter and creative out-of-the-box thinker, according to the company. He most recently served as California Territory Sales Manager with Mars Petcare. Prior to that, he spent most of his career with Procter & Gamble and The Iams Company in a number of sales capacities, ranging from Account Manager to managing their influencer and breeder business.

Jim Altic has been named Southeast territory sales manager. His primary responsibility will be building and maintaining rewarding relationships with distributors and retailers throughout the southern states. Altic spent the past seven years with Mars Petcare as Territory Sales Manager Southeast following ten years as a sales representative with Hills Pet Nutrition, where he managed a large account base of both pet stores and veterinary clinics.

Laurie Wade has been recruited to serve as the Oregon Territory Sales Manager. According to Holistic Health Extension, she brings a wealth of experience from the human side of the food business, where she spent five years developing planograms and merchandising initiatives for major grocery chains and leading food manufacturers. She’s also extremely knowledgeable about pet specialty nutrition and retail sales, having previously served as District Sales Manager for Royal Canin.
