Hill’s Pet Nutrition has announced that Dr. Flavia Vaduva was recently awarded recognition as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) – Nutrition College.
Dr. Vaduva joined Hill’s in 2024 as a Scientific Communications Senior Specialist and is a valued member of the USPVA team. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Before specializing in veterinary nutrition, she served as a general practitioner and held several roles in the veterinary industry.
She completed her veterinary clinical nutrition residency through Kansas State University and the University of Tennessee in 2024.
In addition to her clinical expertise, she has a strong interest in the business side of veterinary medicine. She earned her MBA from West Texas A&M University in 2019 and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida Hough Graduate School of Business in 2015.
Dr. Vaduva is currently pursuing a PhD in Global Business Management through Northcentral University. She is passionate about advancing nutrition and business topics within the veterinary profession and enjoys engaging in discussions to help move our field forward. Outside of work, Dr. Vaduva shares her home with cats, dogs and a rabbit, and spends her free time with her two horses.
Dr. Vaduva is now one of six board-certified veterinary nutritionists at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and part of an elite college of less than 100 nutrition specialists.
