Press release: Healthy Pet Superstore

Healthy Pet Superstore, a Western New York company, has opened its first store in the Buffalo area located at Tops Plaza at 3213 Southwestern Blvd. in Orchard Park, NY 14127. CEO Russ Herman with wife and President Brenda Herman are excited about the opportunity ahead. “I’m so glad that we could finally open a store in the area where I grew up. My heart has always been in Buffalo and it’s great to re-establish ourselves here with a new store,” stated Russ Herman. “We have four very successful stores in the Rochester area and coming to Buffalo is just a natural for us. We are overwhelmed with the positive reception that we have already received and we look forward to opening another store in Williamsville this summer and others soon.” The SPCA of Erie County will be partnering with Healthy Pet Superstore by having adoption centers right in the stores. HPS will also be partnering with other pet rescue groups offering space to do adoption and fundraising events.

Healthy Pet Superstore has been a retail pet supply store since 1994, celebrating 25 years in business in 2019. In addition to offering premium pet foods, treats, toys and supplies, HPS offers a do-it-yourself dog wash for pet lovers who want to bring in their dogs for a quick bath. For only $9.99, customers get their choice of shampoos and rinses, along with towels, use of a blow dryer, and they clean up after you! No more mess at home.

There will be a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting this Friday, May 17th, at 3:00 sponsored by the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce. Free treats, prizes, food and fun will be available all weekend.

Healthy Pet Superstore is a Western New York company established in 1994. HPS feeds free of charge over 8,000 Western New York shelter pets each year through its Shelter Feeding Program. Customers can assist in this endeavor by donating their Loyalty Club points to the program.
