H&C Animal Health on Inc. 5000 List With 3-Year Revenue Growth of 308%

Press release: H&C Animal Health

Inc. magazine recently revealed that H&C Animal Health is No. 1,526 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“We are extremely excited to be recognized again by the Inc. 5000 list,” said H&C founder Chuck Latham. “I am very proud to be a part of this great H&C team. They have worked hard to bring exciting, new products to market which has contributed to our tremendous growth in a few short years. We are honored to be included on the Inc. 5000 list three years in a row. Congratulations to all the great companies that also made the list.”

Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” said Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”

H&C Animal Health was created in 2013 by Latham, a pet industry veteran and founder of Chuck Latham Associates, Inc., to bring the most innovative, highly effective, and clinically proven products from veterinary to over-the-counter retail. H&C’s portfolio of vet-formulated products and represented vet brands showcase the company’s commitment to pet health & wellness. Beginning with one product, ActivPhy Joint Health, today the company features more than 10 brands, including the most recent additions of Angels’ Eyes and bSerene by Scientia Pet. H&C Animal Health leverages more than 35 years of industry knowledge, published data and real-time analytics to ensure product efficacy and value to both retailers and consumers.
