Press release: Gott Pet Products

Fred Corbett has recently been promoted to national sales manager for Gott Pet Products, purveyors of Charlee Bear natural dog treats and Hound & Gatos natural food for pets. He formerly served as Mid Atlantic territory sales manager at this family-owned business.

In Corbett’s new role, he will lead the company’s growing sales organization and strengthen relationships with retailer and distributor partners nationwide. Before joining Gott Pet Products in 2019, Corbett served as national sales manager, Pet & Treats at F.I. Emmert and vice president of sales at Signature Pet Products. Prior to that, he held the title of regional manager, pet specialty division at Mars Petcare. He is known to industry veterans as an accomplished sales professional and dynamic team coach.

“Fred has an impeccable reputation for helping retailers experience greater food and treat category growth,” stated Patrick McGarry, general manager of Gott Pet Products. “I’m confident that his drive, determination and team leadership abilities will propel both of our brands to new heights.”

Corbett steps up at an exciting time in Gott Pet Products history. Charlee Bear dog treats recently introduced two innovative new lines: Bearnola Bites, which are crunchy granola clusters bursting with aroma and taste; and Meaty Bites, raw, freeze-dried morsels blended with real superfoods that’s one of a kind. Hound & Gatos recently launched a line of dry pet food that includes three grain free recipes for dogs, three grain free recipes for cats, and two recipes for dogs made with ancient grains. To help address heightened consumer concerns, all are formulated without peas, lentils, chickpeas, or white potatoes and are supplemented with taurine.
