Furvor, a leading pet bone broth nutrition brand, recently celebrating its first anniversary by launching its first national retail partnership with SCHEELS. Founded in 1902, SCHEELS is a destination sporting goods store with nearly 40 locations in the U.S.A.

Founder Kevin Bauer commented on the pet brand’s first-year success.

“My teenage son and I started Furvor a little over a year ago based on our own experience as pet parents,” Bauer said. “We wanted to bring nutrition to bone broth in an industry where almost all bone broths are over 95 percent water – just flavored water. We couldn’t have predicted our first-year success and the amount of fun we are having leading a movement to reimagine dog nutrition by creating bone broths that are 30 times more nutritionally dense than typical boxed bone broth.”

On the topic of the retail partnership with SCHEELS, Baur explans that Furvor is currently available in SCHEELS locations in Reno, Nevada; Chandler, Arizona; Bismark, North Dakota; Overland Park, Kansas; and Eden Prarie, Minnesota, and it also can be purchased on the SCHEELS online store.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to work with the Scheels retail family,” Bauer said. “Their commitment to customer service and experience sets the bar in the industry. We have also been excited to see their in-store expansion and innovation in pet nutrition and supplies. Our bone broth product family fits their active pet parent community well.”

In addition, Furvor unveiled new 12-ounce bottles and a breakthrough formula, Mobility Support Bone Broth for dogs at Global Pet Expo, which took place last month in Orlando, Florida.

Furvor released all three of its bone broth toppers in 12-ounce bottles in response to feedback from small and active dog owners in its community. The smaller version provides about 20 servings vs. 30 in its 16-ounce version, and it is a more portable product for pet parents who are active with their dogs and need an on-the-go hydration aid. This version will also provide a lower price point for first-time users interested in trying Furvor’s product line.
