Jefferson pets are in for a treat with a new and unique pet care experience coming to town as Hounds Town USA, the daycare and boarding concept where everything they do is for the dogs, recently announced the opening of its newest location in Jefferson. The new location is conveniently situated near the neighborhood’s pet supplies store at 8412 Jefferson Highway and a short drive from New Orleans. The new Hounds Town is owned and operated by Kurt & Jennifer Fehrenbach.

“Jennifer and I wanted to start a business venture together as a couple and being dog lovers, we knew working with animals would be a bonus,” said Kurt Fehrenbach. “After seeing an ad for Hounds Town, we were both really impressed with the brand and its business model. We felt Hounds Town offered an interactive pet service experience that the Jefferson community was in need of. Now, we’re so excited to get to officially open our doors and bring the untapped services of Hounds Town to the community.”

Kurt has an extensive background of over 37 years in the electronics industry, while Jennifer spent over 30 years building an impressive career within her family’s warehouse business. They will both be heavily involved with daily operations of their Hounds Town location, alongside trusted manager Darby Russo, who has worked with the couple in a previous venture. Within both their personal and professional lives, the Fehrenbach’s value giveback efforts and are members of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.
