Complete Animal Nutrition, SmartPetLove Merge to Create Choice Pet Products

North Port, Florida-based Complete Animal Nutrition and Novi, Michigan-based SmartPetLove on February 11 announced they have joined forces to become Choice Pet Products, a pet product distributor with a different DNA.

Choice Pet Products will serve a diverse base of retailers with a focus on representing high-quality brands and products. The SmartPetLove brand will fall under the umbrella of Choice Pet Product’s brands and will be exclusively distributed in the USA by Choice Pet Products.

“With both of our company values aligned, it felt like a natural fit to combine our resources and work together,” said Doug Horiski, vice president of business development for Choice Pet Products. “Complete Animal Nutrition and SmartPetLove have become successful by focusing on our customer relationships. Together we can expand those relationships and offer a larger product selection and quality service to our customers in the Southeast region and beyond.”

Members of both management teams will remain in place to run the combined business, ensuring continuity of service, relationships and customer experience. The new name best reflects Choice Pet Product’s vision of selectively expanding the brands they carry while still providing the highest quality food, treats and other pet products.
