CityVet, a Dallas-based network of 36 veterinarian-owned practices, recently announced the launch of its new Urgent Care services. With a commitment to the well-being of animal companions, CityVet expands its offerings to ensure pets receive immediate medical attention during unexpected emergencies.

“Our decision to launch Urgent Care services stems from our dedication to serving the community and providing comprehensive care for pets,” said David Boguslawski, CEO of CityVet. “We understand that emergencies don’t adhere to a schedule, which is why we’re extending our services to offer immediate attention when pets, and families, need it most.”

CityVet recognizes the necessity for accessible, immediate care outside of regular veterinary hours, understanding that emergencies can arise at any moment. The introduction of Urgent Care services aims to address this need, providing pet owners with peace of mind and reducing the anxiety associated with waiting for emergency assistance. CityVet’s Urgent Care centers offer a wide range of services tailored to handle emergencies, including sudden illnesses and minor injuries. Equipped with a team of expert professionals, these centers ensure pets receive the care they need with compassion and efficiency.

Currently, CityVet is offering Urgent Care services at five clinics. The locations now offering Urgent Care services with extended hours are Alamo Heights (San Antonio), Oak Lawn (Dallas), Alliance (Fort Worth), Capitol Hill (Denver) and Highlands Ranch (Denver).

Recognizing that emergencies often occur outside of traditional business hours, CityVet’s Urgent Care centers feature extended hours for pet-owner’s convenience. The team is available for longer service hours and extended weekend hours for urgent needs. Visit CityVet’s website for more information regarding hours of operation for your local CityVet Urgent Care.

Since the launch of Urgent Care services, CityVet has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community. The extended weekend hours have enabled pet parents to access prompt care for their pets, alleviating the stress of waiting for urgent medical attention.

Dr. Rachel Neese, DVM at the Oak Lawn location, shared her excitement about the new services.

“The launch of our Urgent Care services at CityVet Oak Lawn emphasizes our unwavering commitment to providing timely and compassionate care for pets in need. It’s a privilege to be able to offer immediate care when it’s needed most, reinforcing our dedication to the well-being of our furry companions,” she noted.

“At CityVet, we are committed to evolving our services to meet the dynamic needs of our clients and their pets,” added Boguslawski. “Our Urgent Care offerings exemplify this commitment, ensuring that pets receive the care they deserve when they need it.”
