Choice Pet Products, a distributor of quality pet brands and products, recently announced the appointment of Janet Carter Smith as its new company president. She will be the company’s first appointed president and will assume day-to-day leadership of the company and play an integral role in the continued growth of Choice Pet Products.

Carter Smith brings proven leadership and dedication to success in her new appointment with Choice Pet Products with over 25 years of experience leading transformational growth, building strategic roadmaps and executing comprehensive operational plans in sales, marketing and retail excellence.

Carter Smith was recently honored with a 2022 award for Business Excellence for the Top Women in Health & Wellness. Her passion for animals and animal welfare lead to her founding and leading a 501c3 animal rescue group, Friends 4 Life, which she managed for over a decade. In her new role, she will grow and evolve the company’s talented associates, sales and logistics and operations while focusing on driving the company’s vision of providing the highest quality foods, treats and other pet products along with unique strategies to help both our customers and brand partners thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
