Central Veterinary Associates Held Event at Nassau Barkfest

The event took place at the second annual Nassau Barkfest at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, N.Y. on Oct. 19, 2014.

Pet owners had the opportunity to address any concerns they had about their animals and learn more about what services the veterinary hospital offers.

Those who visited Central Vets’ vendor’s table during the event received coupons for free rabies vaccinations and wellness exams.

Nassau Barkfest was presented by the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The event featured vendors, music and a pet costume contest, in which 500 pets competed for Best Costume, Most Original Costume and Scariest Costume.
