Canadian Specialty Retailer Ren’s Pets Opens Store in Niagara Falls

Ren’s Pets recently celebrated opening its latest retail store in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Canadian specialty pet retailer’s new, 8300-sqare-foot store is located at 7555 Montrose Road by Costco. It is the company’s 43rd location, and fifth new store opening this year.

“We are so excited to have this Ren’s location now open for the summer in Niagara Falls,” said Scott Arsenault, CEO at Ren’s Pets. “We were a bit delayed due to COVID interruptions, but the doors are now open and we couldn’t be happier to serve this very passionate pet community.”

“The energy at the store on opening day was amazing,” Arsenault added. “So many customers and their dogs from Niagara Falls came out to see what Ren’s has to offer for your Pet’s Best Life. Our store manager Jonathan and his Ren’s team did an excellent job at welcoming them all into the new store and giving great advice on food and all the premium products we carry.”

The Niagara Falls store features over 8,000 products with aisles of high-quality dog & cat food, displays of treats and toys, plus a special grooming section. There is 32 feet worth of large, walk-in freezers for raw and frozen pet food. Customers can shop in store, order online for pick up at store, use same-day delivery powered by DoorDash, or ship to home.

“We were thrilled to see a huge line up of customers and their pets waiting to get into the store,” said Larissa Wasyliw, VP of e-commerce and marketing at Ren’s Pets. “Many customers knew our Ren’s brand from the close-by St Catharine’s location or had shopped with us online. We also did a wonderful partnership with Niagara Falls groomer/influencer ‘Girl With The Dogs’ and the local humane society, so a lot of customers saw that video on YouTube and came to check out the store.”
