Canada’s Best Managed Companies Names Intersand a Gold Standard Winner

Intersand President Stéphane Chevigny is thrilled to announce that the company has been named an award recipient of “Canada’s Best Managed Companies.” Receiving the award first in 2019, Intersand successfully retained its status for three consecutive years and became a Gold Standard winner in 2022.

Intersand has continued to strengthen its position through sustained growth and a strong corporate culture, making it a powerful member in this prestigious group. The company has implemented strong business strategies over the last few years that have enabled it to grow and strengthen its position as a world leader in the animal hygiene industry. Through an independent judging panel, applicants are selected not only for financial performances, but the overall company performance and sustainable business growth.

Now in its 29th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the top award programs in Canada. Recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies for innovative, world-class business practices with revenues over $50 million. These companies are cultivating business strategies that integrate environmental, social and governance considerations.

2022 Best Managed Companies share commonalities that include (but are not limited to) “putting their people and culture at the forefront, focusing on their ESG strategies and doubling down on accelerated digitization.” The Best Managed program is sponsored by Deloitte Private, CIBC, The Globe and Mail.
