Brutus Broth Experiencing Significant Growth, Now in 5,000 Stores Nationwide

Coming off the heels of a successful showing at this year’s SuperZoo show, popular bone broth for dogs, Brutus Bone Broth, is continuing its coast-to-coast retail expansion.  Joining the already impressive roster of retailers that have brought Brutus Broth to households across the country are major grocery chains H-E-B in Texas, Bristol Farms and Gelsons in California, and dozens of independent and boutique pet stores nationwide.

Brutus Broth has become a market leader in the bone broth category with a growing consumer demand for healthier choices in the pet segment. This year has been one of incredible growth for Brutus Broth, now available in over 5,000 U.S. stores, including Target, Petco and more. In addition to expanding the brand’s retail footprint, sister founders Sue Delegan and Kim Hehir launched two new products in their line – allergen-friendly Pork Brutus Bone Broth and plant based, vegan “Un” Bone Broth for Dogs.

The newest additions to the product line address a number of health concerns that pet owners face today.

“Our pork bone broth is a great alternative for those dogs that suffer poultry allergies.  Pork is highly digestible and is tolerated by most dog’s that have food sensitivities or allergies,” Delegan explained. “Additionally, our new vegan “un”bone broth really appeals to the environmentally conscious consumer that is looking for sustainably sourced proteins. We also fortify it with Omegas-3, -6 and -9 for skin and coat health. We like to say it is a  super-charged veggie broth!”
