Nautilus Tropical Fish Wholesale has announced its latest re-stocking. According to Sales Manager Joe Hiduke, he received many “fancy” plecos from Belem, Brazil.

“I have several of the gold nugget types (L18 standard gold nuggets, L81 ‘orange seam’ aka small-spot gold nugget, and L177 Iriri aka queen gold nugget aka large-spot gold nugget). They’re all around 2 inches and came in with pretty full bellies which is always good to see,” Hiduke said. “In addition to these guys, I have some gorgeous big L66 king tigers. They’re full adults and absolutely stunning.”

Hiduke said Nautilus also now has nice snowballs from Brazil, saying they are “small but have super crisp pattern and color.”

Additionally, Nautilus received L114 leopard cactus plecos, L75 yellow-spotted sabaji and compressiceps dwarf pikes. The latter are around two or three inches.

“These are a true dwarf species, rarely getting over 3 inches,” Hiduke explained. “Unlike the regani types that seem kind of like pikes trying to be Apistos, these act like real pikes, just at a smaller size.”

Nautilus also got two types of fish from Colombia. Those are the red striped severums and the Geo surinamensis.
