Press release: Boss Nation

When Boss Nation Brands Inc., a pet gut nutrition company, heard the Stray Cat Alliance was desperate for cat food at its shelter, chief executive officer Basel Nassar knew he had to do something. “Resources are stretched thin at many Southern California animal welfare organizations. We had extra supply, so it was an easy decision. The work the Stray Cat Alliance does in helping stray, feral and homeless cats and kittens is life-changing,” said Nassar.

The long-time cat nonprofit works tirelessly in the Los Angeles metro area to educate and empower communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy and valued.

The donation comes at a time when more cats than ever need homes and as inflation and other economic challenges hamper economic resources for many animal shelters and rescues.

“In this economy our budget is tight. When we heard about Boss Nation’s donation offer, we breathed a sigh of relief. It provides us with the ability to feed hundreds of cats over the next few months,” said Tiffany Palazzini, social media and corporate partnerships manager for the Stray Cat Alliance.

In the past year, the group has placed, adopted and assisted in the spaying and neutering of thousands of cats throughout the area. They also took in more than 10,000 calls to their hotline, where people can get assistance with their cat challenges.

Boss Nation Brands Inc. consists of Boss Dog and Boss Cat and has been the leader in digestive health solutions since its inception in January of 2019. It’s probiotic infused nutrition for dogs and cats has won several awards and is found in specialty pet retailers across the United States and Canada.

The Stray Cat Alliance educates and empowers communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy and valued. The Los Angeles 501c3 envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters simply serve as a temporary safe haven.
