Bellboy Import Hires Sarah Whitley as Global Director of Animal Proteins

Bellboy Import Corporation recently announced that it has hired Sarah Whitley as global director of animal proteins. Established in 1984, Bellboy Import is an import/export leader of meat products and ingredients in pet food, human food, pharma and baby food. The company services its market sectors with sourcing, warehousing and inventory solutions, import/export execution, transportation, custom ingredients and the procurement of exotic meats. It also has raw ingredient manufacturing capabilities from emulsification, mechanical separation and blending.

Whitley’s passion for agriculture started on her family’s hobby farm in Northwest Wisconsin. In 2007, she graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. After teaching agriculture science she began working with the Sonac, division of Darling Ingredients. At Darling, Whitley quickly rose through the ranks to become its Pet Food Market Manager, where she managed the company’s animal protein and pet food ingredients portfolio. Whitley also brings a broad and well-rounded range of experience from Del Monte Foods co-manufacturing management and Link One Ingredient Solutions.
