Allyson Baros-Kabler Joins Pet Food Institute as Coordinator of Communications, Membership

The Pet Food Institute (PFI), whose members make the vast majority of dog and and treats in the United States, has recently added Allyson Baros-Kabler as the association’s coordinator of communications and membership.

In this role, Baros-Kabler will coordinate and execute communications strategies and work with PFI’s membership and partners to both amplify the pet food industry’s work and advocate for the issues most important to pet food makers.

“We are excited to add Allyson Baros-Kabler to our team, and I am eager to see how she contributes to PFI’s work to support our members and the well-being of the pets we love,” said PFI president and CEO Dana Brooks.

Baros-Kabler has three years of legislative experience working on in the offices of several representatives of the U.S. Congress, and she has a passion for policies related to animals and agriculture. Additionally, Baros-Kabler holds a master’s degree in political management from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in from Florida State University.

PFI and its members, who make the vast majority of all U.S. pet food and treat products, are committed to helping pets enjoy long and healthy lives. PFI provides information about pet food and treat safety, nutrition and health to pet owners, and advocates for a transparent, science-based regulatory environment for its members.
