Wag N’ Wash, PSP Franchisee Announce Agreement on 5-Location Acquisition

Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming, a full-line specialty retail destination under the ownership of the largest independent pet retailer in North America, Pet Supplies Plus, recently announced the refranchising of five Colorado stores. Previously part of the corporate-operated Wag N’ Wash store portfolio, the locations in Castle Rock, Littleton and three in Colorado Springs (Powers, Woodmen and Uintah), are now under the ownership of Finnegan Dexter LLC.

Based in Lakeland, Florida, Finnegan Dexter owns and operates nine Pet Supplies Plus stores throughout the Sunshine State. Key team members of Finnegan Dexter LLC —  Ray Vigneault, managing partner, and Caitlin Greene, owner — will work closely with Kim Ko Perez, existing district manager of the five stores, to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure Wag N’ Wash remains a valued community partner.

Adding the five stores into our portfolio aligns with the value we place on trusting relationships, which we know mean so much to pet owners,” said Greene, who first invested as a Pet Supplies Plus franchisee four years ago. “We saw an opportunity to expand our business through these existing Wag N’ Wash locations and believe that it is a great fit for our team. We really love the Wag N’ Wash concept, specifically how they have successfully tied in both grooming and retail services within their stores. We plan to continue growing nationally with Wag N’ Wash and Pet Supplies Plus, and welcome the idea for further expansion.”

Founded in 2018, Finnegan Dexter LLC is an experienced pet-retail franchisee with nine Pet Supplies Plus locations and one more in development. With the new ownership of five Wag N’ Wash locations, Finnegan Dexter LLC now owns 14, soon 15, locations under the Pet Supplies Plus umbrella.
