After two years of growth, the company behind Garfield Cat Litter, formerly known as 7Pets, is launching a complete rebranding campaign, including a new name: Petfive Brands. Focused on increasing market share in the United States and enhancing its global presence, Petfive is says it is better positioning itself to serve as an umbrella for the company’s existing brands, soon to be launched pet specialty exclusive line of alternative litters, and eventual new product categories.
“The name Petfive is a play on the high five we often share with our beloved pets when celebrating good times and great products that deliver the quality and effectiveness that pets and their parents deserve,” said Pedro Bastos, CEO at Petfive. “Our new visual identity highlights the special bond between pets and pet parents, the same bond that drives us to fulfill our mission of developing products that contribute to a healthier, easier, and ever-loving pet / parent relationship.”
Petfive Brands currently manufactures and distributes two cat litter lines that are all-natural, sustainable and biodegradable, all without sacrificing effectiveness: Garfield Cat Litter and Hello Kitty Cat Litter. During the Global Pet Expo to be held in March in Orlando, Florida, Petfive (Booth #1985) will launch its new premium cat litter line, an enhanced formula, developed exclusively for the pet specialty channel.
