Pet Retailer Healthy Spot Expands Footprint Across California

Healthy Spot, a boutique pet retailer headquartered in Los Angeles, recently announced its plans to open three locations this fall, including the acquisition of The Raw Connection in Northern California, and two new locations in Los Angeles.
Healthy Spot’s recent purchase of the Carmel, California-based pet store, marks the second acquired location for the brand, which furthers its mission of improving the health, wellness and quality of life for dogs and cats all while providing the best nutrition philosophy and community-driven approach to pet retail.
“Andrew and Mark opened their first Healthy Spot location for the same reasons I started The Raw Connection,” said Sarah Adams, founder of The Raw Connection. “Our values and mission are closely aligned, and I am grateful knowing that our pet community will continue to be served with the highest level of care and compassion.”
Two new company-owned Los Angeles locations will open in Hollywood and Culver City this Fall, bringing Healthy Spot’s total store count to 23. Both locations will offer an assortment of high-quality dog and cat food, treats and supplies, as well as best-in-class dog grooming services.

The new stores, designed by Shook Kelley, offer a refreshed look and feel, and enhance the customer experience by clearly identifying the features and benefits of the products and grooming services. Healthy Spot aims to serve as a one-stop-shop for pet parents by offering nutritious dog and cat food, eco-friendly pet supplies, quality dog grooming and pet-friendly community events.
