Just in time for the 50th anniversary of flexi Germany, flexi North America has opened its new headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In 1973, Manfred Bogdahn invented the flexi retractable leash, which is now successfully sold in more than 90 countries around the world. 

flexi was introduced into the U.S. in the mid 1980s and soon launched a new segment within the lead and collar category, giving dog owners a new and improved way of walking their four-legged friend. Over the last 50 years, flexi has expanded its retractable leash program to several hundreds of models to meet evolving customer needs with innovative designs, new materials, higher comfort and safety features. In doing so, the flexi brand – with it arrays of high-quality leashes available today – resonates with pet owners who are looking for something new and reliable.
