CityVet, a growing network of veterinarian-owned practices serving people through pet care with kindness for more than 25 years, will open CityVet Lake Nona on November 24. Located at 14152 Narcoossee Road in Orlando, Florida, the new clinic will be led and owned by Dr. Heather Lipp, marking CityVet’s first Orlando-area location.

CityVet Lake Nona will provide a full range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, dental care, wellness plans, pain management, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery, along with same-day appointments as available. Dr. Lipp is also certified in pet nutrition, allowing her to provide personalized dietary recommendations for pets with unique or complex nutritional needs.

Dr. Heather Lipp brings more than 15 years of veterinary experience and a strong commitment to relationship-based care. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2009, she began her career working with both small animals and exotics before transitioning into a practice that also offered boarding and daycare. Over the years, she has volunteered at a large cat sanctuary, working with lions and tigers, and has practiced across a range of settings, from general care to emergency surgery.

Dr. Lipp’s decision to take on an ownership role was shaped by years of mentorship and a desire to lead with purpose. Inspired by her mentor, Dr. Scott Jacobs, who modeled calm confidence and compassion in practice, Dr. Lipp strives to carry those same values into her own leadership. Dr. Lipp credits him for having a profound impact on her career and future, noting that she continues to emulate his professionalism, kindness and dedication in her daily work.

“That philosophy drives me as a veterinarian and a leader, to create a place of healing, knowledge, and compassion where our team can provide exceptional care and make a difference in the lives of pets and their families,” said Dr. Lipp.

A longtime Florida resident, Dr. Lipp sought a community where she could build lasting relationships with both pets and their families. She found that connection in Lake Nona and relocated with her family to open the clinic in one of Orlando’s fastest-growing and most vibrant areas.

“Lake Nona is a beautiful community filled with people who truly value quality care for their pets,” she said. “The location allows us to be at the heart of the neighborhood, close to families, schools, and parks, and to offer excellence in a space that feels welcoming and personal.”

“Expanding into Orlando is an exciting milestone for CityVet, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Dr. Lipp to lead the way,” said David Boguslawski, CEO and president of CityVet. “Her philosophy centers on listening, connecting, and making every pet and person feel valued. That commitment to compassion and communication is what will make CityVet Lake Nona such an important addition to the community.”
