Champion Petfoods, Toronto Six Announce Most Valuable Pets Program

The Toronto Six and sponsor Champion Petfoods, who make ORIJEN pet food, announced its new Most Valuable Pets program to support the player’s biggest fans – their pets.

Dogs and cats are an integral part of The Toronto Six and the team behind ORIJEN has been working closely with the players to develop a winning “pet” roster to support the 2022/23 season and to understand exactly what their dogs and cats need.

To date, the Toronto Six has 23 famous furry friends on its roster with everything from rescue cats to Golden Retrievers. The team is always growing and accepting new pets.

“Oakley, Willow and Norman have absolutely loved their switch to ORIJEN. Their coats are shinier, their teeth are whiter, and it’s clear that they are healthier and stronger pets thanks to Orijen. The Woods pets will forever love ORIJEN,” said Toronto Six player Emma Woods.

To support this growing sector of the Toronto Six roster, the team behind ORIJEN will:

● Release coveted “pet cards,” which will include a player and their pet, complete with the names, ranks and stats.

● Utilize the team’s mascot, Kipling, who will hand out ORIJEN treats at each game.

● Host a “Pet Game” on March 11, 2023. The Toronto Six will host a contest in partnership with the team behind ORIJEN to award 100 free tickets to fans for that game.

● Offer pet/player meet and greets at select pet specialty stores.
