The name change coincides with a record-breaking month for the site, hitting 1.3 million visitors in the past 30 days. This puts IHeartCats.com at the top of all online cat sites in terms of viewers per month.
“We wanted our name to represent the feelings we all share for our cats and the new brand does this perfectly,” said Justin Palmer, founder and CEO of IHeartCats.

In addition to the popular website, IHeartCats has 800,000 fans on Facebook and 30,000 newsletter subscribers.
These numbers are gold for pet businesses struggling to reach their target customers.
