smartpetlove announced its donation of pet products valued at over $220,000 to benefit animals during the aftermath of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

The SPCA of Texas, Houston Pets Alive, Jacksonville Humane Society, Friends of Clay County and the Center for Great Apes were all selected to receive items to help the animals in their care following the devastation left by both hurricanes. A total of 3,000 snuggle blankets and 4,640 snuggle beds were donated across all of the charities to provide comfort to the animals impacted by the hurricanes.

“Our thoughts are with the animals and people both affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma,” CEO Rob Emery said. “We wanted to provide some comfort to the animals whose lives were drastically changed after the hurricanes. Many of our products are designed to help ease stress and anxiety in pets, so we thought the snuggle beds and blankets could make a difference.”

The snuggle blankets and snuggle beds are designed to provide warmth and comfort during times of anxiety or stress. They are made with ultra-soft fleece, are long-lasting, and machine washable.
