Best Friends Acquires Indianapolis Area Pet Hospital

June 22, 2015

Best Friends Total Pet Care has acquired Woodland Animal Hospital and Pet Lodge. This adds to Best Friends Pet Care’s expanding portfolio of more than 50 locations throughout the United States.

“Since we’ve started, it has been our mission to enhance the well-being of pets and their owners through all the stages of life,” said Mollie Hoff, president and COO for Best Friends Total Pet Care. “We are delighted that Woodland Animal Hospital and its 21 team members have agreed to join the Best Friends family. We have always felt that Indianapolis is a great city for us and Woodland, with their great reputation and quality service, provides us with a substantial base to serve the greater Indianapolis market. We see this as an exciting opportunity for both companies, customers and their furry family members.”

Woodland will retain its name and provide great synergy between its current offerings and the full suite of services from Best Friends. Woodland’s clients will now have access to the over 50 Best Friends’ locations across the country, including four in the Indianapolis area. These include veterinary, boarding, grooming, doggy daycare and training services.
