Ziwi, the innovator and global leader of air-dried pet nutrition, has announced that Angel Flores is joining the team of talented and innovative staff as the Southeast Marketing Manager. In this role, he will help with overall brand development and messaging as the company continues to expand its presence in the global pet food market.
Angel attended the University of South Florida, majoring in pre-medical sciences with an interest in marketing. He comes to Ziwi with a background in sales and marketing. Angel’s devotion to his pets and his marketing experience led him down the path of join the Ziwi team.
Heather Hickey, Ziwi USA Vice President of Sales, said: “I am excited to add Angel to our team in the Southeast. He has a lot of outside sales experience and a passion for pets.”
Ziwi also announced that Brandon Edmunds is joining the team of talented staff as the Lower Midwest Territory Manager. In this role, he will help with overall brand development and messaging as the company continues to expand its presence in the global pet food market.
Brandon grew up in Dallas and received his BBA in Marketing from Texas Tech University. He later went on to attain an MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Dallas. He comes to Ziwi with a tremendous amount of sales and marketing experience from his previous position as a Territory Manager and Key Account Manager. Though Brandon is new to the pet food industry, his love for animals and passion for marketing and sales, make him a perfect addition to the Ziwi team.
Hickey added: “Brandon comes to Ziwi with a lot of experience working for rapidly growing companies, and he enjoys building relationships with independent retailers. He will be a great asset to our team.”
