ZenCrate says it believes in giving back to the community that supports it. That’s why a percentage of the proceeds from each ZenCrate sold is earmarked to go to help others—whether it is supporting an organization like the Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC) or helping a pet owner struggling to pay the bills for their pet’s treatment.

ZenCrate was first built in 2014 for co-founder and COO Jonathan Azevedo’s dog Charger, who suffered from horrible anxiety. A smart crate for dogs that uses technology like vibration isolation and noise, the ZenCrate offers pets comfort and security that they can self-administer thanks to its door-less design.

And now, fans of ZenCrate can also help pets in need by donating 10 percent of their purchase on the company’s website with code GIVEBACK10 at checkout.

“We are excited to work with ZenCrate for this fantastic promotion that will give back to the shelter animals,” said Cherie Wachter, vice president of the HSBC. “By using the special code when you purchase your ZenCrate, you are not only helping your pet, but you’re also helping pets in need get a second chance at a happy, fulfilling life.”
