Whistle Acquired by Mars Petcare

The purchase occurred in February. The company is rumored to have been bought for more than $100 million, although Whistle has not confirmed the number.
Whistle’s GPS Pet Tracker makes it easy for owners to keep tabs on pets’ fitness with a collar that monitors steps and which can be viewed on a connected app.
The San Francisco-based Whistle itself has made some acquisitions, purchasing the Tagg tracker in 2015.
