WellPet Names New Commercial Director for South Europe

WellPet, LLC, an independent, family-owned natural pet food company, announced that Jose Luis Ibanez has joined the company as commercial director for South Europe. Ibanez will be responsible for the business development of all WellPet brands across Spain, France, Italy and Portugal by leading the WellPet sales team, creating customized solutions for both pet parents and retail partners and developing relationships with breeders and other industry influencers.

Ibanez is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience in the pet industry and a strong knowledge of the European market. He previously worked for a veterinarian pharmaceutical company in Spain and with leading global pet food brands. Throughout his tenure, Ibanez has also forged strong relationships with the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), national kennel clubs and other groups that play an integral role in driving trial of pet food brands among pet parents.

Ibanez is a lifelong pet lover and pet parent to a salt-and-pepper mini schnauzer named Aldo. He will continue to be based in Geneva, Switzerland, where he has easy access to the entire South Europe market.
