Wag N’ Wash in Phoenix Hits Sales Milestone Amid Pandemic

Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming, a full-line specialty retail destination for cats and dogs, announced its Phoenix location achieved the highest sales volume in Wag N’ Wash history. During a time when the pet industry is thriving, Wag N’ Wash franchise locations were up 7% in November.  A go-to spot for companion animals and pet lovers alike, the Wag N’ Wash in Phoenix has been providing self-wash and grooming services, natural food products and fresh-made bakery items for 14 years. The local owners, Steve and Rich Strauss, are brothers with the brand’s founder and are Wag N’ Wash’s longest standing franchisees. The brother duo also owns and operates the Wag N’ Wash nearby in Scottsdale.

In addition to Phoenix, Wag N’ Wash franchise locations are experiencing positive sales growth month over month.  This is largely due to the innovation Wag N’ Wash implemented amid the pandemic, with a new online ordering system creating an additional point of sale for stores and refreshed marketing materials across the board.

Since Wag N’ Wash’s inception in 1999, the Colorado-based company has been a leading place for pet enthusiasts to find quality goods and services for their pet companions, and simply be pet people. Among the store’s offerings are various brands of all-natural pet foods for dogs and cats, supplements, collars and leads, toys, supplies and unique goods. In addition, Wag N’ Wash’s do-it-yourself dog wash facility is designed to put convenience and fun into the “chore” of washing your dog.

With nearly 20 stores open throughout the country, Wag N’ Wash is focused on growing the brand in new markets including, Charlotte, Atlanta, St. Louis, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Northern Virginia, with qualified franchisees who have the ambition and skillset to succeed with the company.
