W.F. Young, a family-owned company that has been providing high-quality and trusted animal health and wellness products for over 130 years, is proud to announce that it has earned accreditation from the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC). This significant achievement emphasizes W.F. Young’s dedication to advancing sustainability within the pet industry.

The Pet Sustainability Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating environmental and social sustainability in the pet industry. Each year, it awards accreditation to companies that demonstrate exceptional performance in sustainability metrics. W.F. Young’s accreditation highlights the company’s efforts to reduce environmental impact, promote social responsibility and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

“Our sustainability strategy is a direct reflection of W.F. Young’s commitment to purposeful growth and innovation for a better tomorrow, and we are honored to receive accreditation from the Pet Sustainability Coalition,” commented Jessica Lincoln, product manager – pet at W.F. Young. “Our mission – which is driven by our pioneering spirit, animal expertise and product technology – is to enrich and improve the lives of pets and people every day while shaping a viable future for the next generations.”

W.F. Young is committed to reducing its environmental impact by transforming its processes, products and use of raw materials as it builds its role as industry leaders in sustainability. The company offers five USDA Certified Organic products made with sustainably harvested ingredients and uses up to 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its packaging. To-date, over 858,000 pounds of CO2 emissions have been saved through the use of solar power at W.F. Young’s headquarters, which is equivalent to planting 6,484 trees each year.
