Here’s what Up Country, a company that creates designer dog and cat collars and accessories, said about the store in an email:
“Eleven years ago, Melanie Parks was just your average dog owner.
Her weekends were spent romping on the beach in Coronado, California, with her 185 pound Great Dane. After splashing through the water and rolling in the sand, Melanie would take him to Wag’N Tails, a local boutique and self-wash pet store, to tidy up before the ride home.
She loved the business so much, she bought it!”
