Pet Partners, the nation’s leading organization registering therapy animals for animal-assisted interventions (AAI), is pleased to welcome Melissa Martellotti to its board of directors.

Martellotti is a purpose-driven global communications leader passionate about propelling corporate and brand reputation for global organizations. She oversees corporate digital communications as the global director of digital and social media communications for Mars, Incorporated.

Throughout her 20+ year career, Martellotti has been at the forefront of crafting and executing impactful communications strategies that elevate brands and drive positive corporate reputation. With expertise in brand PR, digital, social media, corporate social responsibility, sustainability communications and reputation-building initiatives, she consistently delivers measurable results for consumer and corporate brands worldwide.

Martellotti is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she graduated with high honors. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, daughter and two adopted fur babies. Apart from her professional pursuits, she finds happiness in giving back to her community, sharing the world with her daughter, traveling and spending time outdoors.
