The Honest Kitchen is consolidating and adding capacity to distribution of its line of FDA-approved, 100 percent human grade whole foods for pets throughout the eastern seaboard.

“This expansion in distribution is an important move for The Honest Kitchen, as we continue on our current rapid growth trajectory,” said Steve Donzelli, vice president of sales. “The move will allow us to add a significant number of new doors, improve our already exceptional service and help more pets on the road to good health, through good quality, whole-food nutrition.”

The major additions to the company’s distribution network include Phillips, who will provide brand-managed distribution services along the entire East Coast and Southeast and Summit (Animal Supply Company) who will expand their reach throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

“We’re excited to offer The Honest Kitchen’s line of dehydrated whole foods to our customers on the East Coast,” said Blaine Phillips of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies. “We have a large number of retailers for whom this innovative product is an excellent fit. The Honest Kitchen is dedicated to high quality ingredients and nutrition and we are thrilled to partner with them.”

Pet Food Experts will continue to provide distribution coverage with an expanded territory in the Northeast. Holistic Pet Source will also maintain its entire distribution footprint in select eastern states including Tennessee, Kentucky and the Carolinas.

“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with The Honest Kitchen in multiple regions throughout the United States and we are pleased to add the company’s products to our offerings in this expanded territory on the East Coast, through our southeast region company, Summit Pet,” said George Ristevski, CEO of Animal Supply Company.
