TailsSpin Pet Stuff Hosts Seventh Annual Pet Care and Adoption Fair

People can get tips on taking care of their pets and save some money on their health care at the Seventh Annual Pet Care and Adoption Fair taking place Saturday, April 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parking lot of TailsSpin Pet Stuff in Whitemarsh Island, Georgia.

Services available will include low-cost pet vaccinations, heartworm testing and low-cost pet micro-chipping provided by Dr. Beth Martin, as well as pet nail clipping and dog washing.

All proceeds from the Pet Care and Adoption Fair will benefit the participating local pet rescue agencies and Islands High School Veterinary Science Program. The fun-filled event is expected to draw a good crowd, with over 30 vendors, including groomers, veterinarians and trainers. Pet Food Manufacturers and other vendors are scheduled to participate, offering a variety of products and pet services.

A number of local area pet rescue agencies are scheduled be present with pets available for adoption, including Coastal Pet Rescue, Dachshund Rescue of North America, DREAM Dachshund Rescue, The Islands Feral Cat Project, Grateful Golden Retriever Rescue, Humane Society of Greater Savannah, Georgia Rescue Rehabilitation & Relocation, One Love Animal Rescue, Save-A-Life and Tabby Tales Rescue. Pet food representatives from Blue Buffalo, Precise, Nutrisource, Wellness, Lotus, Zignature, Natural Balance Pet Foods and more are also scheduled to be there.

For every local pet rescue adoption, TailsSpin Pet Stuff will assist new pet owners by giving them a free small bag of dog or cat food, a free engraved pet ID tag, a coupon for a free self-serve dog wash and 10 percent off their purchase that day. TailsSpin Pet Stuff will also host a one-day sales event at its Savannah and Pooler locations.
