Press release: Petfive Brands

Petfive’s eco-friendly cat litter brand, Sustainably Yours, recently announced a partnership with United Pacific Pet in an effort to expand distribution. Though it is currently only available in 29 states, the California-based distributor will make both varieties of the naturally clumping litter available for the first time to independent pet retailers across California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

United Pacific Pet, which is local and independently owned, is one of the largest distributors of pet food and products on the west coast. The company maintains a special focus on providing independent business owners with the highest quality goods, which range from organic foods and treats to supplements and litters.

“We are extremely excited about the opportunities that this partnership will bring,” comments Pedro Bastos, CEO at PetFive. “Not only does United Pacific Pet have great reach in the west coast area, but they have a fantastic reputation as being a distributor of innovative and holistic brands. We feel that Sustainably Yours will fit in perfectly with their portfolio of top-tier pet products.”

Sustainably Yours is available in two varieties: Multi-Cat and Multi-Cat Plus for extra odor control. Known for providing an alternative to traditional clay-based litters, its unique formula combines two biodegradable ingredients, corn and cassava, which eliminates odors and clumps more effectively than competing sustainable brands. The litter also has a distinct, light color that increases visibility and helps pet owners easily detect any abnormalities in their cat’s urine. Additionally, Sustainably Yours is chemical and fragrance-free, produces virtually zero dust and can be flushed, addressing many of the issues that have previously plagued cat owners.

The brand also strives to give back by donating a portion of its proceeds in support of the Rain Forest Trust, a top charity-rated organization that acquires acreage in threatened rainforests worldwide to protect and sustain natural habitats.
