Royal Canin, a pet food company, is planning to build a new $100 million plant in North Sioux City, SD.
The Missouri-based company already operates in the South Dakota city. A kick-off event for the new manufacturing facility is planned for June 27.
The company also plans to donate about 10,000 pounds of cat and dog food to the Siouxland Humane Society and Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue.
The new plant is expected to begin production in April 2019.
