Rachael Ray Nutrish Launches Sweepstakes and Donation Campaign to Raise Awareness of Animal Rescue

September 28, 2017

Super premium pet food brand, Rachael Ray Nutrish announced today that it will launch a new sweepstakes and donation campaign during the month of October called “Rachael Ray Nutrish Furever Home” in honor of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Month. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of animal rescue and help shelter pets find the homes they deserve.

The program is comprised of two specific aspects. First, during the month of October, the brand will donate $250,000 in equal amounts to three rescue organizations: Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the largest no-kill dog rescue in the Southeastern United States located in Loxahatchee, Florida; the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), a national leader in the areas of animal rescue, adoption and welfare; and North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization.

The second aspect of the program is comprised of a sweepstakes in which consumers can register their purchases of Nutrish products for the chance to win one of four prizes, including a grand prize of $25,000 and a free year supply of Nutrish dog or cat food, and three smaller prizes of $5,000 and a free year supply of Nutrish dog or cat food. To enter, shoppers can purchase any Nutrish product October 1-31, 2017, visit www.nutrishfureverhome.com and follow the on-screen instructions to register their purchase and upload a digital photo of their original purchase receipt. Winners will be notified following the completion of the program.

“The Nutrish Furever Home campaign was inspired by our unwavering commitment to supporting animal rescue and acting as a champion for pets everywhere,” said Steve Joyce, vice president of Marketing at Ainsworth Pet Nutrition. “That’s why a portion of proceeds from each sale of Nutrish is donated to the Rachael Ray Foundation, which helps animals in need throughout the United States.”

To date, the Rachael Ray Foundation has donated more than $21 million to organizations that do good for animals, including its recent commitment of $1 million to support various animal welfare organizations actively working in Texas and Louisiana to care for animals displaced by Hurricane Harvey, according to Joyce.

Every Rachael Ray Nutrish super premium pet food recipe is made with real, simple, wholesome ingredients, like real U.S. farm-raised proteins, and never contain any artificial preservatives, flavors or poultry by-products.
