Pro-Pet announced the hiring of new Chief Operating Officer Greg Wolking. Wolking joins the Pro-Pet management team after executive roles with Mars Company and Procter & Gamble. Current Pro-Pet COO Jim Flora is retiring in August after 17 years with the company. Flora will transition the full COO duties to Wolking after a long and well-respected tenure at Pro-Pet, including 14 years as the COO. Wolking’s responsibilities will include operations, supply chain and business development.

“Greg is the leader everyone wants on their team,” Pro-Pet CEO Jim Wiegmann said. “He brings more than 20 years of experience in pet food operations, quality assurance and supply chain logistics, which will be instrumental in strengthening our operations and taking Pro-Pet to the next level. We are delighted that he has decided to join us and know he will be a good fit for our company.”

Pro-Pet says it will benefit from Wolking’s experience with two global companies as the company look to improve efficiencies, continue to innovative and serve retailers, brand owners and consumers.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Pro-Pet team in the middle of this unprecedented growth,” Wolking said. “I look forward to continuing on the path that Jim Flora has established and thank Jim Wiegmann for providing me the opportunity to leverage my experience to help lead the next phase of the Pro-Pet story.”
