The Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC) announced today that Courtney Hogan has been hired as government affairs specialist, effective immediately.

In her new role, Hogan will research and monitor legislation and regulations of interest to the industry and assist in communications. She will also act as a key point of contact for PIJAC members and the broader pet industry.

Prior to joining PIJAC, Hogan worked as a staff assistant for Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick. She assisted in legislative research, drafted responses and communicated with constituents regarding legislative processes.

“Courtney’s government affairs experience makes her a great fit for this position,” said PIJAC president Mike Bober. “We track hundreds of bills on a monthly basis, and we’re excited to have her join our team and assist in doing so.”
