September 1, 2016

Petmate has announced the donation of over $12,000 of crates, kennels and dog houses to the areas devastated by the recent flooding in Louisiana. The donation will aid the relief efforts and rescues of displaced animals through Acadiana Animal Aide, which serves the Lafayette area, and the Louisiana SPCA, which serves New Orleans, Baton Rouge and surrounding communities.

According to a company statement, Petmate hopes that the donation will help the shelters rescue displaced pets in the hopes of reuniting them with their loved ones. Petmate stated that the donation also supports the company’s mission to keep pets safe and happy.
