Petland Raises $52,000 for St. Jude

Petland raised over $52,000 last October to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s treatment and research, more than doubling its contribution from 2012.
Petland’s national goal for 2014 is $83,333, the cost to operate the hospital for one hour of one day. The campaign runs through October 31 in Petland stores across the country.
“Petland is proud to support the work being accomplished at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has supported the organization for many years,” said Elizabeth Kunzelman, director of communications. “We have been fortunate to have several stores and staff members visit the facility and see firsthand how special it is. Kids are treated like kids and no parent has to worry about payment. It’s truly a magical place and we want to do all we can to support their research and their treatment.”
