PetFirst Names CEO

Michael Walling has been named Chief Financial Officer for PetFirst, a national pet insurance company headquartered in Jeffersonville, Ind.

“PetFirst is excited to have Michael as part of our leadership team, overseeing the financial growth of our organization,” said Katie Grant, CEO of PetFirst. “He brings more than 16 years of experience in accounting and finance to this role and also has a strong entrepreneurial background.”

Walling most recently worked for a manufacturing company where he led the efforts to streamline business processes and developed and integrated product line financial statements to identify return on investment for each line of business. In his previous role, he also managed multiple departments such as Human Resources and Information Technology.

It is my goal for the finance and accounting areas to continue to support the momentum the company has established and to ensure that we manage our growth in a way that secures the future of the company.”
