Pet Food Experts Executive Team Grows with 2 New Members

Pet Food Experts has added two new members to its executive team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The family-owned pet product distributor welcomes Sean Kent as vice president of vendor development, reporting to Jim Alden, executive vice president of business development, and Sean Cleary as vice president of human resources, reporting to Michael Baker, president and CEO of Pet Food Experts.

Kent joins Pet Food Experts with 25 years of experience in sales, general management and strategic leadership, beginning with Coca-Cola before moving into the pet industry, most recently as vice president of consumable brands at Animal Supply Company.

“I feel extremely lucky to be able to join such a well-respected organization with such an impressive cultural legacy. I look forward to helping Michael, Jim and team continue to create value-added solutions for our retailers and vendor partners,” Kent said.

Cleary has over 15 years of experience in human resources in a variety of industries, joining Pet Food Experts after working with companies such as WWE, Bank of America and Diageo. Prior to beginning his career in human resources, Cleary worked in the sports world as an assistant basketball coach for the Boston Celtics, University of Pittsburgh and Manhattan College.
