Pet Connections Expo Announces Pet Tech Challenge

International Conference Development, LLC (ICDevents) announced the introduction of a new award for innovative technology for the Pets Industry. Companies that offer new technology products for the pet industry are eligible to enter.

Companies may submit their product between now and July 26th. Finalist selection will take place by August 16th and the final judging will take place at Pet Connections Expo on October 16, 2019. All companies that enter the contest will receive a deeply discounted tabletop exhibit space.

“We are excited to bring this new award program to our 2019 show. Pet retailers that attend will be able to meet each of the finalists at their booths and consider the new technologies that will surely be of interest to their customers. These companies will add to our expanded floor in 2019 and will help us to continue our focus on empowering the success of retailers,” stated Bill Doherty, ICDevents’ president and Pet Connections Expo’s show director.

Five finalists will take the stage and provide a five minute pitch on their product to a panel of investors, the press and attendees at Pet Connections Expo on October 16. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen from this group of finalists based upon creativity, originality, relevance to the pet industry, technical problem solving and the presentation onstage.

A number of prizes will be provided to the five finalists and the grand prize winner will receive a prize package worth over $7,000, including a cash grant and mentorship by leading consultants in the pet industry.
