Readers’ Choice Awards Nominations End Today

Listen to this articleThe nomination period for Pet Age’s second annual Readers’ Choice Awards ends this Friday.
Manufacturers are encouraged to nominate their new products for the awards, which were established so retailers can recognize excellence among the newest pet products that have hit the market. Products that were officially available to retailers after January 1, 2018, are eligible for nomination. Products for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, aquariums and reptiles can be submitted. Within those six species categories are 50 product-type subcategories. Nominations will close on September 14, 2018. Nomination form and further directions can be seen here.
Ballots of these nominations will be sent to more than 20,000 pet specialty retailers across the country. The winners those retailers select will be announced in the December issue of Pet Age.
